Kathleen is a certified professional dog trainer-knowledge assessed (CPDT-KA) through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.

Graduating from the San Francisco SPCA Dog Training Academy in 2006, Kathleen earned her CTC (Certified Trainer Counselor) certificate.

In 2004 Kathleen founded Pound Puppy Rescue www.poundpuppyrescue.org, a non-profit organization with the mission of rescuing homeless puppies, and has trained and fostered puppies and dogs for the past 14 years.

In 2014 Kathleen received her Service Dog Training at Service Dogs, Inc. in Texas and founded Wags and Warriors, a non-profit organization which rescues dogs from shelters, trains them as service dogs, and matches the dogs with veterans suffering from PTSD.

Kathleen is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and attends their annual conferences.  She is also a Canine Life and Social Skills (CLASS) Evaluator as well as an Evaluator for AKC Canine Good Citizen.

Behavior is one of the biggest reasons people give up their dogs to shelters and rescues, which is why Kathleen is passionate about training you how to train your new puppy or dog. Kathleen believes that dogs and their families deserve the very best life together.
